We are excited to announce the results of our recent poll regarding the future of WELT token bridging between Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Polygon. After listening to your feedback and considering the options, the community has overwhelmingly chosen Option 2: Using BingX as the Bridge.
What This Means
By utilizing BingX as our official bridge, we’re ensuring that token holders can seamlessly transfer WELT tokens between BSC and Polygon at their convenience, without the need for snapshots, airdrops, or complex liquidity pool transitions. This method offers flexibility, efficiency, and speed while maintaining the integrity of our ecosystem.
Liquidity Rebalancing
As we implement this solution, we are also addressing the current imbalance in liquidity between the BSC and Polygon pools. Currently, the BSC side has significantly lower liquidity compared to the Polygon side. To ensure a healthy and balanced trading environment across both networks, we will be rebalancing the liquidity between these two chains. This step is crucial to maintain market stability and provide equal opportunities for our community on both chains.
Why BingX is the Best Short-Term Solution
We understand that many of you are eager for long-term solutions to strengthen the WELT ecosystem. However, the decision to use BingX as a bridge is not just about immediate convenience — it also aligns with our broader vision for WELT. We are actively working on developing our own WELT blockchain, which will provide even greater control and flexibility in the future.
Implementing a complex bridging system now would be inefficient, as much of that work would need to be redone when the WELT blockchain launches. By using BingX in the short term, we avoid unnecessary complications and allow the community to transition smoothly, while focusing our energy on building something even greater: the WELT blockchain.
